Our History

Welcome to Lozick Pit Crew, where we take pride in providing exceptional automotive services to our valued customers. Our team of expert mechanics is dedicated to delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Our founder, John, has been passionate about cars and their mechanics since a very young age. When he was only five, he enjoyed unscrewing his mother’s Cadillac tires and releasing air for fun! (It was a mystery for some time how her tires were always low.)

He grew up in San Diego and spent most of his childhood tinkering with cars, learning as much as he could about how they worked. Even before he was old enough to drive, John was known in the neighborhood as the go-to guy for any car-related issues.

John’s passion for cars led him to attend UTI Universal Technical Institute, where he was noted as being the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable student in his class. He spent countless hours in the garage, working on his beloved Acura Integra, and helping out anyone in need.

One day, John’s mother gave him a custom-embroidered shirt with “Lozick Pit Crew” on the back, and the name stuck. When John decided to start his own automotive services company, he knew that “Lozick Pit Crew” was the perfect name to honor his late mother and carry on her legacy.
